Tomball Farmers Market
Dozens of local farmers and artisans make their way each 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday to the Tomball Farmers Market, 205 W. Main Street. You don’t want to miss markets in December, however. The Polar Express Market happens this year on Dec. 7 and features wonderful items from 75 vendors. Santa will also be on hand for photo ops! There are even more farmers and artisans anticipated at this year’s Christmas market on Dec. 21. Santa will make a quick trip in from the North Pole again to visit with children.
Tomball German Fest Christmas Market
The annual Tomball German Festival Christmas Market is more than a place to shop — you can also enjoy live music and other entertainers. This three-day event is slated for Dec. 13-15 and includes activities for the kids as well as contests for yodeling, a bier stein hoist and doing the best Chicken Dance. More than 150 vendors are expected, selling everything from food items, wood crafts, toys and more. Admission and parking are free. The market is held at 201 S. Elm Street near the train depot plaza.
Tejas Chocolate & Barbecue
Grab something special for the stocking at Tejas Chocolate + Barbecue, 200 N. Elm Street. This chocolate “craftory” uses only premium cocoa beans from around the world to make award-winning truffles and bars.
